Despite the fact that men commit suicide and homicide, end up homeless or in prison, and land in psychiatric hospitals or rehab clinics at much higher rates than women, most men avoid, belittle, and just “don’t get” therapy. That’s why we need Naked Therapy. If Naked Therapy gets men into therapy, then it must be practiced, because it is succeeding where traditional therapy has failed.
Why does Naked Therapy get more men into therapy? Because Naked Therapy allows, encourages, and respects arousal in the therapeutic context. Traditional therapy forbids arousal, yet our world is saturated with arousal, and men aren’t stupid. They know that you can’t teach someone to swim by talking to him; you need to get him in the water. Naked Therapy brings arousal into the therapeutic context, and men love it. Not because they’re “sex-obsessed,” but because they can tell that what they’re doing in Naked Therapy, unlike in traditional therapy, is actually relevant to their lives.
What can women get out of Naked Therapy? Well, not only can they enter Naked Therapy and discover how arousal in the therapeutic context can change their perspectives on themselves, but they can reap the benefits of more men entering therapy. What’s the common complaint women have about men? They don’t talk about their feelings. In Naked Therapy they do. So, women, be thankful. Naked Therapy is turning men into what you want: emotionally-attuned, insightful, vulnerable, passionate beings.

I have a question about your information. What are your sources or statistics that you’re citing for your work? Not challenging their validity, just that the huge correlation between men and increased suicide rates is shocking, and something I’d really like to see more about.
